Ankur is the only counseling center in Nepal that specializes in children. It is also the leader in innovative trainings for people who work with youth. The psychologists of Ankur provide therapy to adults in addition to children.

The counselors at Ankur have Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and years of experience providing treatment.

Since the center opened in 2006, Ankur has counseled more than 300 children, and has provided more than 40 trainings to over 700 people who work with children.

The Ankur Counseling Center is a program of Friends of Needy Children and is funded by the Nepal Youth Foundation.
